On this episode, we interview Julie Segall who is a doctor of physical therapy and a dancer! She earned her degree in dance at Goucher College before moving to NYC to dance professionally. She then stayed in the city and studied to become a physical therapist at NY University. Currently, Julie is the associate clinical director of Neurosport Physical Therapy in NYC where she specializes in performing arts medicine. She works regularly with dancers and Broadway performers.

Our mission: On Physiotherapy Performance Perspectives (PPP), Jenna and Marissa interview Physical Therapists who specialize in and love treating performing artists. In this monthly podcast, we aim to help performing artists gain a better understanding of how their body works, how to reduce risk of injury, what Physical Therapy for performing artists entails, and how to maximize performance potential.
