On this episode, Dr. Gang Zhang, a licensed Physical Therapist and Acupuncturist is interviewed. As an owner of All Well Physical Therapy and Acupuncture P.C., he is focused not only on making sure that you are comfortable and cared for while being treated on site, but also that your body is being taken care of whether you’re at home, at work, or out to have fun. He’ll help you learn how to take care of yourself at the conscious level—how you should move to keep your body well-maintained, ways to prevent any more problems that might stop your body from doing what you want, and exercises to keep fit and in better shape than before. Dr. Gang Zhang has a Master’s Degree and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Long island University. He has been working as a Physical Therapist for more than ten years, and was an assistant Rehabilitation Director for Gouverneur Hospital (an affiliate of NYU School of Medicine) before founding All Well Physical Therapy and Acupuncture P.C. He has taken more than thirty Continue Education courses focused on treating orthopedic, neuromuscular, and chronic pain disorders. He also has a Master’s Degree in Acupuncture from New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and received advanced training in acupuncture and manual therapy in China at Liaoning Traditional Chinese Medicine School and at Orthopedic Hospital of Guangzhou University. He worked with his college as its' clinical supervisor of traditional medicine at Gouverneur Hospital. Additionally, Dr. Zhang is an Acupuncture Diplomat of the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). He is currently taking Continue Education courses for Chinese Herbology and is beginning to incorporate herbal supplements into his practice. Chinese herbs are able to enhance balancing effects received from acupuncture and allows you to continue receiving treatment even from home. ​Aside from work, Dr. Zhang is also an active martial artist with over twenty years of experience!
