On this episode, Meredith Butulis was interviewed. Meredith has been a dance medicine focused Physical Therapist since 2002. She blends the traditional research of sports medicine with the aesthetics needed to service dancers. As a former professional dancer with Boston-based companies Kelly Donovan, Impulse, and Medusa Dance, as well as a current Fitness America world-level competitor, Meredith has a first-hand appreciation of the daily demands that dancers must meet.

Meredith is a former physical therapy provider for New York’s Broadway shows, Lion King, Beauty & The Beast, and Hairspray, as well as the Radio City Rockettes.

She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University, as well as her Masters in Physical Therapy from Boston University. She continues to dedicate over 100 hours/year to continuing education in the fields of dance and sports medicine. As a Physical Therapist, Certified Pilates Instructor, and American College of Sports Medicine certified Health Fitness Specialist, Meredith wears many hats.

Currently, she practices Physical Therapy in Eden Prairie, MN, as well as serving as the Chair of the Health Fitness Science department at Globe University/Minnesota School of Business.
